Paul was my ‘Drum Technique’ teacher. I remember having mixed feelings in my first lesson – one being WOW and the other being am I ever gonna be able to do that! The great thing is the way he broke it down gave me the tools to be able to approach a lot of my drum learning with positivity and determination and those tools have come with me into both my playing and teaching. I’m grateful for the experiences I had with Paul; he’s the real deal!
